Playtime Buddies

SWEETIE PIE has everything she needs to make a painting (paint, brushes, canvas) ....until she realizes she is missing the most important thing: a subject! She then gets inspiration from the MAKE-BELIEVE BUDDIES, who show her how to use her imagination.

When SWEETIE PIE and BEST BUDDY are playing with a toy airplane, SMUDGE THE CAT gets stuck in a tree. They can't figure out how to get him down and after convincing Best Buddy it's okay to ask for help, they call on FIREMAN BUDDY to rescue her.

SWEETIE PIE and BEST BUDDY join the PIRATE BUDDIES on an exciting Treasure Hunt, during which the Pirate Captain learns - 1) Always give people, or mermaids, a chance to prove what they are capable of doing; and 2) Everybody succeeds by using cooperation.

SWEETIE PIE is drawing a picture of FIREMAN BUDDY to give him as a thank you for rescue. BEST BUDDY convinces her it would be better to buy him a gift. BAKERY BUDDY suggests a gift they make themselves would be even better and teaches them to bake a cake.

When the COWBOY BUDDIES and their cattle are unable to cross a river, SWEETIE PIE and BEST BUDDY as to the CONSTRUCTION BUDDIES for their help, and together they build a bridge for everybody to use.

When HIKING BUDDY takes SWEETIE PIE and BEST BUDDY on a camping trip, they find themselves being helped by a mysterious new friend: CAVEMAN BUDDY!

SUPERHERO BUDDY keeps SWEETIE PIE from getting hit by some falling recycling. They tell him he's a hero but he doesn't think he ever does anything important. The buddies get him to realize that it doesn't take a single big act to make him a real hero.

While visiting the Playtime Village's Aquarium, SWEETIE PIE and BEST BUDDY see the coolest thing ever: an Octopus! Seeing that the poor little guy doesn't have anybody to play with, they head down into the bay with SCUBA BUDDY to find him a playmate!

When ZOOKEEPER BUDDY can't find anything that her Dinosaurs are willing to eat, SWEETIE PIE and BEST BUDDY head into the forest in search of something new to feed them. There they find CAVEMAN BUDDY, who is able to help them.

Out for a hike, SWEETIE PIE and BEST BUDDY find some bugs which makes them curious. HIKER BUDDY, DETECTIVE BUDDY, and ZOOKEEPER BUDDY try to answer their questions but it takes BOOK BUDDY to help them really find answers in the library.
