When her daughter is kidnapped and held for ransom, a sweet, doting mother living in a conservative, deeply religious community decides to defy the authorities and take matters into her own hands. With no special skills to speak of and implementing unorthodox methods, she hunts down her daughter's captors, one by one, until she gets her child home safe.
