Gavin and Stacey

Stacey and Gavin return from their honeymoon to a big welcome from both families. But Smithy seems none too happy with his best mate and Nessa has a confession to make that throws the whole evening into disarray.

Smithy goes missing after his news about becoming a father. When the boys finally track him down can he be persuaded to do the right thing?

Stacey feels dejected because she cannot get a job and Pam tells her she needs to get out more. Smithy needs Gavin's shoulder to cry on because his girlfriend broke up with him over Nessa's pregnancy and told him she was seeing a younger man anyway. Gavin, Stacey and Smithy head for Barry so that Smithy can go for the scan with Nessa.

Gavin and Stacey go house hunting while Mick is the talk of the town. Nessa visits Stacey for a night of tenpin bowling but tensions are rising between the newly-weds.

Gavin refuses to consider the idea of moving to Barry. Smithy admits to Gavin he had another fling with Nessa and realises he'll have to face her again at Gwen's surprise party.

Gavin seeks counselling for his marriage from Smithy. But Smithy's idea of relationship therapy is to organise a surprise lad's night out at a foam party.

Stacey heads back to Essex and into the arms of Gavin. Everything seems perfect until Pam and Nick offer to cover the down payment on a house for them.

As Nessa and the Wests head to Essex to spend Christmas with the Shipmans, Gavin and Stacey have a startling announcement to make.
