King of Con: The Life and Crimes of Hamish McLaren

In Episode 1 we meet several of Hamish's targets, including his girlfriend who believed he was a 41-year-old banker called Max; a divorcee, Karen, who ended up a million dollars in debt; and grandparents Lorraine and Peter, who invested their life savings with Hamish and lost everything to the man who promised he would never let them down.

In Episode 2, Hamish's targets slowly learn that the charming and self-proclaimed investor 'genius' has fleeced them out of all of their money.
