Lindsay and Melanie have a bris for their new baby. Brian crashes the ceremony and refuses to let the baby be circumcised, causing problems between Lindsay and Melanie. Ted gets lucky with devastating results.

While Ted lies in a coma, Brian learns he's the executor of his friend's living will. Justin's mother begins to suspect the truth about her son's sexuality, while Michael and Emmett discover that Ted has had a longtime crush on Michael.

Michael fends off the romantic overtures of his co-worker and starts to date a handsome chiropractor, Dr. David. Brian is propositioned by a potentially important client and Justin struggles with his relationship with his mother.

Ted recovers from his near-fatal overdose by dating Roger, an overweight chorus director. Dr. David gets into a tug-of-war with Brian over Michael. Lindsay meets Justin and is impressed with his artwork.

When Michael and Dr. David spend a weekend in the country, Brian's emotional hold on Michael and his dislike for Dr. David intensifies. Justin's father discovers the truth about his son and decides to send him away to school.

Lindsay leaves Gus with Brian for a weekend away. Dr. David introduces his son to Michael. Ted takes a walk on the wild side with an old college friend. Brian confesses to his father, who has cancer, that he is gay.

Michael and Dr. David fight about finances. A strange Frenchman, Guillaume, moves in with Lindsay and Gus. After starting a new club, Justin is suspended from school.

Dr. David and Michael host a high-society fundraiser but Michael excludes his friends. Justin continues to be harassed at school.

Dr. David is discovered at the baths by Brian causing Michael to wonder about their future. Ted reconnects with Blake who caused his near-fatal overdose. Justin finds out his parents are getting a divorce.

In the throes of a hot session, Brian gets some upsetting news. Justin's classmate Daphne asks him to be her "first." Despite Blake's crystal meth addiction, Ted continues to see him.

The "King of Babylon" contest produces some surprise contestants. Brian is beaten at his own game. An innocent trip to the mall lands Vic in jail.

After being chosen "Ad Person of the Year," Brian is encouraged to take his talent to New York City. Vic appears in court to plead his case. Dr. David's ex-wife's impending divorce takes him to Portland.

Brian turns 30. Ted finally faces the truth about Blake. A big surprise awaits Justin and Daphne as they attend their prom. Michael and Dr. David prepare to move to Portland and on the way to the airport; Michael receives a call from Brian.
